Chuck D. Rebuild.

Can i create my 4hour work week? Create something that can pay me well for my time and efforts as well as pay my bills? Can i retool my creativity to have the life that i really want and deserve? After reading and re-reading The 4hr work week, i started making positive changes to my life. No more late nigh… Continue

Chuck D. Progress..and plans.

Got a "new" bike today! Can't complain since i got it for free. Now i just need a quality bike lock. My plan is to ride to and from work as much as possible this summer to save $. So far so good. Saved some by riding it home after picking it up, and found a few new places to climb along the way! Going to talk to my boss tomm about transferring to a store where i want to move to. Hopefully will have some good news by end of the week. Well, that's it. A positive step forward, and didn't cost me a… Continue

Chuck D. My first day...

Ah... my first day on the 4 Hour workweek challenge. Feels good! I have been feeling kinda sour the last few months. I have made great strides in my work life, but home seems to be stressing me more than ever. I even joked with a co-worker just the other day..." it's funny..I'm happier at work than being at home, it's usually the other way around!" Well, i started my journey last Oct when i purchased Tim's book. I read it, and read it...then proceeded to put forth some changes. I immediately w… Continue

Kate Falcone To be or not to be... an employee

Truth be told, I haven't even finished 4HWW but I have already made some really drastic changes in my life.

While pretending to work at my most time consuming yet least productive job I created the website freerangemoms.com with a lot of the same intentions as the author of 4HWWChallenge seems to have.

I work 2 jobs and never see my child or the light of day in order to live in the most beautiful place, but obviously dont enjoy it. Today I wrote a business plan and gave it to… Continue

aarona July Cohort starts July 2nd. Anyone welcome to join it.

I think it might be best for everyone if we break the challenge into 3 month sprints. That means you will have the chance to create, test, and profit from your original Muse within 3 months from the start of your Cohort.

What is a Cohort? A cohort is usually used to talk about a group of students that enter a Ph.D. program or some endeavor together. They study, and graduate as a group, supporting one another along the way. Each person of course has their own specialty.

I was th… Continue

Danny Thompson I'm 4-days in.

I started testing two muses on Monday, June 11th. Both are e-books I'm thinking of writing. I also have feelers out on a product I'm looking to have manufactured. I am a little irked, though, because Tim announced his partnership with Google after I had already set my account up.

Oh well. What can you do?

As for my goals, I'm a freelance writer...I already make good money working for myself, so I'm hoping to have my first mini-retirement scheduled in under six months.… Continue

aarona Kick off July 2nd

Hi folks,

We're just getting started here at The 4-Hour Workweek Challenge.

I'd like to Kick off *my* personal 12 month countdown on Monday, July 2nd. That gives me just 2 more weeks to clean house here , and to re-read Tim's book (I'm still unpacking from a move).

So, in the next 2 weeks, also please organize your own ideas for your Muse, and perhaps you and I can begin our countdown together.

If you need more time, there is no rush. Start your 12-month co… Continue

Hello world

Players wanted! Won't you join me on my 4-hour workweek challenge?

This group is for support in reaching this goal (or your personal goal) and to *document* what you're doing so that we can learn what steps work and don't.
We're not going to just talk about the book, we're going to take actions following the suggestions in Tim's book, and then… Continue
